Although GitHub's servers are located in the USA, GitHub has taken steps to ensure that data processing meets the requirements of EU data protection laws. Cloudflare

Analytics Tools

My website uses Cloudflare Real User Monitoring (RUM) for anonymized analysis of the usage of my website. Cloudflare RUM collects information about user interactions with my website to improve performance and optimize your user experience. The collected data is anonymized and does not contain any personal information.

You can adjust your options for protecting your data at any time in the Privacy Settings. This includes the option to disable Cloudflare RUM.

SSL/TLS Encryption

For security reasons and to protect your confidential data, my website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the change in the address bar of your web browser from “http://” to “https://” and the display of a lock symbol in the address bar.

Since SSL/TLS encryption is automatically enabled, the data you send to me or to Cloudflare or GitHub cannot be read by third parties.
